The Biggest Reason For Failure At Anything

I have met literally thousands of people through out the past who all claimed that they wanted more out of their life than they currently had. They had big dreams and amazing aspirations to do, be, and have more. To move beyond their current situation in life. Yet 99% of the time, they were only talking with their mouth. Their actions said something completely different. And anyone who knows what to look for can tell whether someone is serious about creating the life of their dreams or not.

There are only a few things that are necessary for success, and skipping any of them will result in stagnation. Not applying any one of the requirements for success will result in the feeling of never getting what one wants. One of the biggest things I see that most people never take the time to do that is required for success is a very simple process that many people simply take for granted. It's the process of figuring out what one wants, and taking the time each day to really get in touch with those things

It's a very simple process, yet 99% of the time, most people on a path of personal development or accomplishment never take the time to do it. They never take the time to think about what they want, and more importantly, they never take the time to write it down and put it some where that they will have to look at it everyday. And if they do, they simply make the list and
never do anything else with the list. They have shot themselves in the foot long before they even started the race. Then they wonder why they get the feeling of running in circles.

Luckily, if you are in the 99%, this is a very easy thing to remedy. Take the time to really think about what you want out of life. Everything you want to do. Imagine the type of person you would want to be if you were exactly as you wish you could be. That isn't a bad thing. That doesn't mean you are a bad person. Everyone has something they can improve on, and an aspect of their behavior and personality that could use a little work. Also, take the time to think and imagine everything you would want to have.

So if your life were exactly the way you would want it to be, what sort of things would you do on a daily basis. What about on a weekly basis, or a monthly basis, or even a yearly basis. Is there some place that you would travel to every month or every year? Is there an instrument you would take the time to learn and practice? Would you finally get around to studying a martial art? Take the time to dream, and dream as though nothing were impossible. If you could do anything, and nothing were impossible, what would you spend your time doing?

If you were exactly the kind of person you want to be, what kind of a person would that be? Would you develop more confidence? Maybe you feel the need to be a more disciplined person in certain aspects of your life. Possibly there are areas of your life that you feel the need to show more courage. Maybe you would be the kind of parent who spends more time with their chidlren
doing what your children love to do. Again, take the time to think about it, write it down, and imagine yourself being anything you want to be.

What sort of things would you have if your life were exactly the way you would want it to be? What would your house look like? Take the time to dream about every room, and every detail of it and write it down! Would you have heated tile floors? A four car garage? An in ground pool or a sauna? What kind of a car would you drive if you could have anything you wanted and nothing were impossible? What about a boat? Or a plane? Maybe a piece of artwork painted by Picasso himself!

Dare to dream big, regardless of what others may say or do say. Take the time to write down those dreams on a piece of paper. Take a look at those things every single day and feel the feelings of having them. You can't help but acquire those things if you do. Your life can be anyway you want it to be. Go forth and create it.
