    The Acid Alkaline Philosophy - What If Your Blood Gets Too Acidic?

    Do you know the pH of a healthy body? Our blood has a pH level around 7.35 to 7.45, which is slightly alkaline. pH measures how acid or alkaline a medium is. From 1 to 7, pH level is considered to be acidic while from 7 to 14, it is considered being alkaline. 7 by itself is a neutral state. Why do you need to know this? Our energy level is heavily dependent on our pH level. And having a diet that would restore our pH would boost our energy level.

    It all starts in the bloodstream. Think of the bloodstream as a superhighway with stops all over the body. Red blood cells are the commuting traffic riding along the bloodstream in a hurry to get to work. These red blood cells each have a negative charge on them, and this keeps them from getting into fender benders and collisions in the bloodstream. When the negative charge is stripped away from the red blood cells, they cluster together and can cause gridlock and bottlenecks in the bloodstream. In short, the traffic in the bloodstream is not flowing as smoothly and it causes everything to slow down. If you've ever been stuck in freeway traffic you know how frustrating this is.

    With the pressure increase in our blood, it has a negative impact on our body. This usually causes us to feel tired and sluggish as our energy is being sapped away. One of the reasons behind a blockage in our bloodstream is due to acid. When acid enters our body, it neutralized the negative charge of the red blood cells and causes it to stick with each other and bang the ceiling walls of the bloodstream. What can you do to avoid this? You can simply ends this by taking note of what you put inside your mouth and into your stomach. When the stomach digests food, natural acidic waste is left behind. The type of foods also influences how acidic our blood will become. Our body eliminates these wastes in the form of urine and sweat however when excessive waste are piled up in our body, it is simply impossible to eliminate the acidic wastes.

    What does your body do with all of the acidic waste it can't get rid off? The answer is quite shocking, it stores it in your body! The cells in your body are mostly alkaline and this acid waste starts to attack and destroy these cells. A lot of energy is expelled keeping the waste from doing detrimental damage to your body, but this fight can only go on for so long. Eventually the build up is so great that the cells deteriorate and cause energy depletion and leaves the body open to disease.

    What can you do to save this situation? You would need a higher energy level to fend off the diseases and allows us to have strong cellular regeneration. The first thing we should do is to change our diet by reversing this breakdown of our body. Whatever we eat would determine how much acidic waste gets stored in our body. The more alkaline food we choose, the lesser the waste would be accumulated in our body which would ensure us of a good health.
