Grow, glow, and go. These are three food types which a person should eat every day in certain amounts in order to eat a healthy and nutritious diet. This is the subject matter in one of the many lessons in science in the elementary grade which increases the awareness of children to eating a healthy and balanced diet. From the very start, man has been used to eating different food products, as well as beverages. And without actually knowing it, these food products and beverages contain harmful chemicals. Although the body has its own way of removing unwanted toxins in the body, sometimes a build up of these harmful chemicals or acids are inevitable. And this is because of the enormous amount of chemicals or acids found in the body. Different fluids are found inside the human body. The cells inside the body are often affected by the ph level. The ph level is the measurement of acid-alkaline in the body. The body has its own way of managing the so-called ph level; and when it is unable to do such thing properly, the imbalance affects the whole body. If you encounter stress, fatigue, tiredness, pains or experience pains, poor digestion, aches or a balloon in weight, it may be the red light for you to check your body's ph level to see if it's too acidic. Ingesting acids, creating acids and incorrect acid removal are three reasons that may result in the body being too acidic. When you consume food high in acid content such as processed meat, alcohol, meat, dairy products, and coffee, you are depriving your body of a chance to neutralize the acids that are already present. Why can't our body be too acidic? An acidic medium is the ideal environment for living organisms such as microforms, yeasts and bad bacteria to thrive and grow. They in turn, release acidifying toxins, making our body even more acidic than before. Some acids are strong, while some are weak. Acid build up occurs when the body systems which eliminate the acids are not functioning properly, and is compromised. Many systems in the body buffer acids which includes mineral reserves, breath, and fat. Acids are considered toxins, and these toxins need to be removed through detoxification. You have to aid your body in the detoxification process especially when it is not functioning well. Achieving a well-balanced ph level may sound like an enormous task, but it can be easily achieved if you watch what you eat and the nutrients in your food intake. To neutralise the excessive acids in your body, it is recommended to have a diet with food high in alkaline content and drink water to hydrate your body regularly to reduce acidity. Supplements may seem unnatural but proper consumption will go a long way to helping your body to achieve its best detoxification results. Instead of letting your body detoxifying naturally, why not try the existing alkalizing products and you will be able to see the improvement in your ph balance. This is a preventive method from acid accumulation. The next question you may have is, "When do I start a detox program? If you are one in many who is subjected to the ills of acid accumulation, it is advisable to start right now. It is hard to convince yourself that your body needs to undergo detoxification at times, but taking this first step will benefit your health and life in the long run. Having self-discipline and determination will see to your body's successful detoxification.
