Your Source of True Authentic Power

By: Richard D. Blackstone

The secret about authentic power is to be conscious that it exists. Use the law of attraction to focus on the power within you and it will be revealed to you. Use spirituality information to advance your spiritual growth by consistently experimenting with understanding the process of conscious creation.

Part of this grand experiment that you are embarking on is a shift from making your choices based on your intellect to making your choices by going to your heart. You begin to realize that your heart, not your brain, is the conduit to your soul. You begin to shift the priority of living exclusively through your physical senses to living and making choices by using your nonphysical senses.

This allows you to open up yourself to the reserves of energy and love that are part of your very beingness. They have been there all along and now you are going to unlock their potential by exposing yourself to the power that exists in this domain.

This is what we call true, authentic power. The dictionary defines authentic as “1. (Reliable), trustworthy, authoritative, factual, 2(genuine) real, true, actual.”

This authentic power is part of your beingness as a spirit child of God. It is God power. No wonder they call it authoritative. It comes from the author of this huge play we are all part of.

Put this authentic power up to the external power that we defer to in this physical world and you will see that there is no comparison. External power that is gained through external sources, such as money, position, title or fame is very temporary and temporal. If you lose the source of your power, such as money, then you lose the power.

On the other hand, authentic power can never be lost. It is part of your make-up. It is part of who you are. Just because you may never have consciously tapped into its potential doesn't mean that it isn't there. It is always there. It is eternal, just like you. It is genuine; real, true, actual.

The truth is that you have been using the authentic power that you possess all of your life. The difference between you knowing this or not is answered by the question, “Are you making your choices and decisions, and thereby creating your life, consciously or unconsciously?”

The question is not whether you have been creating your life. You have been creating your life from the choices and decisions you have made throughout your life. The question remains “have you been making your choices and decisions consciously and thereby creating the life of your intentions and desires?” or “have you been making your choices and decisions unconsciously and thereby creating your life in a haphazard manner that may, or may not, reflect your innermost desires and aspirations?”

Take a moment and reflect on this. We are getting down to the nitty-gritty of your life here where you are able to honestly assess the decision making process that you have used and trusted throughout your life.

The concept is simple. Have you been consciously aware of the cause and effect relationship of your thoughts and words as to how they are the initial influencing factor in what shows up in your life? Or have you been sleepwalking through life being unconscious of the fact that every thought that enters your head and every word that leaves your mouth has a profound effect on every action that you take and everything that you experience?

There is no right or wrong answer here. There is merely what is so to each individual who walks this earth. Personally what is so for me, for the first forty-five years of my life, was that I was sleepwalking. I heard what other people were telling me to do and I bought into the idea that I was a separate person who had to fend for myself because “it's a jungle out there,” and the best way to take care of myself was to believe in the law of “the survival of the fittest.”

Once I woke up to my true authentic self I began to see myself as one with all of life and this interconnectedness allowed me to begin the process of living my life consciously and thereby consciously create my life the way I desired it to be.

If that sounds good to you then begin the process of living your life consciously and all things will be revealed to you.
