What do you mean by Triputi?

Triputi means the knowledge of three items.

1) The Lord who is the goal
2) The path to please the Lord and
3) yourself.

The true knowledge of these three items is

1) you should know that the Lord for a human being is always available in the human form and you can get complete benefit from such human form of the Lord only. You must also know the knowledge the characteristics of the Lord in human form to identify Him (Manusheem Tanumaasritam – Gita).

2) You must know that the only path to please the Lord is sacrifice of all the worldly bonds. The root bond of all these bonds is only the bond with money, which is called ‘Dhaneshana’ since if money is not present the entire bonds will break (Dhanena Tyagenaike).

3) You must know that you are the soul, which is a bundle of the three qualities mixed in different proportions (Naanyam Gunebhyah Kartaram – Gita). You must differentiate yourself from the Lord since the Lord is beyond the qualities (Gunaateethah – Gita). You are the colored shirt and the Lord is the person who is wearing the colored shirt.
