"Intuition is the deepest wisdom of the soul ." Jeffery Mishlove * Have you ever felt the little hairs on the back of your neck suddenly come to attention when you meet someone new? * Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed, tired and drained after attending a function? * Do you experience gut feelings about situations, people or decisions? * Do you feel uncomfortable when someone enters your personal space? If so, you are likely a feeling intuitive, a clairsentient or clear feeler. When developing your intuition, it is important to identify your strongest channels of communication. These natural channels allow you to easily hear your intutitive messages, while building trust within yourself as your refine and nurture your gift. What Does It Mean to be a Feeling Intuitive? Your internal radar uses physical sensations within your body to alert you to both positive and negative outcomes. Let’s say you’ve just been introduced to a new neighbour. As you shake their hand or say hello you feel a falling sensation in your stomach. You know the feeling—you’ve just crested the first rise and the roller coaster screams down the hill leaving your stomach at the top—not an entirely pleasant experience. This is your intuition sending you a signal that this person’s energy does not blend well with your own. Perhaps this other person is not going to be a positive influence in your life and your sixth sense provides you with this forewarning. If however, you feel a pleasant butterfly sensation, such as you would when you’re excited or joyful, your intuition is guiding you in a positive direction. This new person may end up being the “sister” you never had, or the husband you’ve been praying for! Perhaps you’ve been driving to work when you unexpectedly felt a need to turn off the highway one exit earlier only to find out later that you avoided a major accident on your originally intended exit. Other positive signs of confirmation may include: * a lightness in your chest * a feeling of euphoria * a sweet or enjoyable taste in your mouth * a sudden calmness Other warnings signs may include: * an uncomfortable prickly sensation on the skin, * the hairs on the arms, neck or entire body stand up in warning. * sudden trembling * a bad taste in your mouth Of course, there are many other feelings or sensations through which you can receive your intuitive messages; these methods are part of the unique connection you have with Spirit. It is important to remember that no matter the internal signal you receive, it is completely up to you what you choose to do with it. Spirit provided us with the gift of free will. However, paying attention to these Divinely presented messages can improve your life, ease the flow of abundance and prosperity and help you experience life without life experiencing you! How can you sharpen your feeling sense? Here’s a quick and easy exercise that can be practiced daily. Find a parking space: * As you drive into the parking lot, tune into your body. Eliminate the feelings of being rushed from your body and relax. * Ask yourself “go straight?” Quickly check in with the sensations in your stomach, chest, mouth, arms, your entire body. * Ask yourself “turn left?” Again take notice of the sensations you are feeling. * Ask yourself “turn right?”, notice the bodily reactions. Which one felt positive? Follow your body's reactions and follow the positive feelings. Did you easily find a parking spot without driving up and down the aisles many times? If so, congratulations! You have successfully listened to the whispers of your soul! Continue to follow your inner trip tick and you’ll be locating great parking spaces in no time! Remember, you can use this technique for any situation in your life; gauging a new person, finding a great gift for a loved one, or even when looking for a new career or home. Keep listening to the whispers!
