When Did You Stop Thinking For Yourself

 08/17/08

If you take pride in being normal and thinking like everyone else; what do you have to be proud of?

If you are thinking normal and are amongst the 90% of the world's population that does not share the wealth; what are you so proud of?

If you take pride in being normal and thinking like everyone else, and your country is at war; what are you so proud of?

If you take pride in being normal and thinking like everyone else, and you have been raped or robed; what are you so proud of?

If you like fitting in and being one of the crowd; what has the crowd done that you are so proud of?

If you are thinking like the rest, are Christian, Muslim, Jewish or affiliated with some other religion and you are not experiencing peace of earth; what has thinking inside the book given you?

If you continue to think like the others expecting change or something different to happen for you; what's wrong with your thinking?

If you are thinking like the others and you think you have to change the world; isn't it your thinking which needs changing!

If you are thinking like the others and nothing different is happening in your life; who is thinking the same way going to change you?

If you are thinking like the others and you are expecting something to change in your relationship, and your thinking about the relationship hasn't changed; who's going to make the change?

If you are thinking like the others in your religion and you are still not getting your prayers answered; do you think it's about time to change your thinking?

If on the other hand you have changed your thinking about what you are thinking and you are still not manifesting all that you desire in your life; is this when you stop thinking all-together?

When you lived at home and your family wanted you to think and believe as they did; when did you make up your mind to start thinking for yourself?

When you moved into the real world and started believing the others when they told you how to think; did you substitute one family for another?

When you realized that you where thinking and believing as the others; did you think that there were any other choices, and that your survival depended on you thinking the same way as others?

If you are looking at others and how they live and the circumstances of their lives, and find that your circumstances are very much like theirs; do you think it is because you are thinking the same way they are thinking?

If you are thinking as the others and are fitting it; is it all that you imagined?

If you are thinking the same way as everyone else and you want to change; what is it you have to think about to change?

If everything in your life represents your thinking and you don't like it; is there something in your thinking that is not working for you?

If you think, do or say the same things as everyone else; then you are not thinking. You are a robot, an automaton and you died a long time ago.

Change comes with a change in thinking. New thinking attracts new experiences. After millennia of humanity thinking the same way, they have evolved very little past their first thought. Leaders, explorers, and successful people do not think in the box; they changed their thinking, and some of them exploit the old thinking - they know something you do not!

You cannot solve any problem in the same state of consciousness in which it was created!
