Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Golden Pond shows us that this natuarlist ‘knew’.

What did he know?

Here’s a clue, from a quote of his:

“What lies behind us and what lies within us are tiny matters compared
to what lies within us”.

In their day, the American naturalists knew a lot about our modern
society of that time. They understood the deep connection the human
race had to Nature. While at the same time that somehow mankind was on
the verge of ‘elevating itself’ beyond the very system that every
living thing on the planet depends upon.

Mr. Emerson, could have used any color in describing the “Walden Pond”
environment where he made his home. He choose gold not as a means of
earthly riches, but at a very deep level this naturalist had
transcended beyond mere mortality.

He lived in a one room house, with few pieces of furniture to claim as
his own, seeking to further deepen his connection to Nature instead of
distancing from it.

He choose Gold my friends because he saw the beauty both outside and
inside.

Now to The Story

Of all the various things that happened this year the one I would like
to tell you a little of is what transpired between September and
November.

The company I work for was shifting work down south to lower the cost of
labor.

On a particular day in September, I noticed a women in the lobby of the
building, talking on the cell telephone and could get the sense that
she was upset.
I wondered why she was upset and how I could help without interrupting
her, then the moment past.

Several weeks later while at a printer some 5 miles form the office
after work, I saw here again. This time I walked over and introduced
myself and asked if she worked at the same company where I worked? She
confirmed that she did. I then asked her what was the matter, why was
she upset? She explained that she was losing her job and that she
was concerned about losing her home and how all that would effect her
twelve-year-old son. Tears were now surfacing in her eyes, as she
fought them back in my presence. I told her, its okay to cry and she
let down a tear or two. Quickly she asked me, ‘Are you my Angel’?

I told her that I didn’t know if I were her Angel, but I told her that
they are real and that I was Blessed enough to see Angel Gabriel (in
female form). With beautiful Golden garments, skin, teeth and a Golden
circle around Her head, as well as a warm smile.

I told her, not to worry but to use her energy on what she wanted, not
what she didn’t want. In ten short minutes I (through God’s Grace) had
pulled her from the valley of hopelessness and despair, her pain passed
quickly as I helped her find a frame. I told her that I would help
support her emotionally and get her through this crisis, what I call a
‘life quake’. As we left, she smiled and said thank you.

The following day, I looked her name up on email and continued to help
her, guide her and support her feelings of despair.
She thanked me for helping her, as she confirmed that it was her that I
meet yesterday: Yes, I was.... I felt so much better after speaking
with you. I was
right you were my angel...
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!

She fell one more time into a negative emotional outlook and guided her
back to the surface where she could breath again. Each time, turning
those feelings into Hope.

We didn't meet by 'accident', especially off-site, at a printer 5 miles
away!

Focus, Focus, Focus on What You Want -

Not what you don't.

Use your energy positively, you need to do that.

Avoid negative thinking like the plague, I urged her.

I explained to her, what she needed was a script of how she wanted her
life to be and asked her to write one. A week or two passed and she
could not, finally I wrote one for her.

Here's a sample script:

"I now have a Great Career, with a Great Company, working with
wonderful people earning really good money, close to home, with lots of
professional growth".

See it, Feel it, Believe as if it has already occurred, charge it
emotionally with Gratitude. Give thanks as if it has already occurred.

Have a variation:

""I am so Thankful for having a great career, with a great company,
working with wonderful people earning really good money, close to home,
with
lots of professional growth". Notice both focus on it as if it already
occurred.

A few more weeks passed, then I received an email:

Good morning John,
How are you? Hope all is well. I was off for the past couple of
days... I have wonderful news to share with you.

She had landed a job within the same company for more money, better
work!
