   What are prayers, and why do they go virtually unanswered, considering the number of people praying and the number of prayers prayed?

   Roy, prayers are affirmations of your current situation. Most prayers are in fact prayers of lack. When most people pray they are confirming that they lack certain things in their lives. They lack health abundance, relationship, good weather or what ever. They are asking me to correct the situation. When one prays to me for money, they are simply saying that you do not have any, or don't have enough.  Who am I to argue with you, so I return your statement, as a matter of fact in your reality, you do not have enough money. The universe, which I am, always mirrors your statements, I can not contradict what is your reality, I can not interfere with what you are creating.

   When you ask for money because you don't have any, you get back the experience of not having any, and asking for it. With this kind of prayer you will not get what you ask for, what you are getting back as in an echo of your statement.

   Asking is a statement of lack, prayers generally are an affirmation of that lack. In the process of creation, the word is the command that brings our desires into fruition. The power is in the spoken word. Whatever you say with conviction and authority, you will bring into your life.

   In order for prayers to work, they can not be prayers of lack, but those of gratitude. The fastest way to get what you desire is to know that you already have it, and a prayer of gratitude is an affirmation that you already have what you desire.

   In prayer one would thank me for his abundance, and that abundance shall be reflected back into his life as reality. It is thought that controls my energy, it is your thought, not mine. I only reflect what you are thinking.

   Give thanks, give gratitude for what is already yours, know this and you shall have it. It is the law, my law, that what every follows "I," is the command that brings that realization into physical existence. Be careful what you pray for, you will get it.

   When praying to me or another, be aware of whom you a praying to, less you create a dualistic relationship. This is another reason why prayers mostly go unanswered.

   I have given you the power to create all the circumstances of your life. You do not need me to do this for you. When you pray to me for help, again you are making a statement of lack. In other words you are assuming the power lies within me to help you. IT DOES NOT! You are trying to return the power I have given you, in this struggle the power is lost. I have no power per se. I have divided myself up into individual pieces and have scattered myself over the universe. The power is in those pieces, in you.

   I have a strict code of non-interference. In your prayers you are once again creating a situation that can not work. You have been given UNCONDITIONAL love, which means unconditional freedom to create at will, anything you desire, but you would have me take the responsibility for it. I WILL NOT. You render yourself powerless, when you project your power onto me.

  There is no God outside of your body. You are me in physical form, you have all the attributes and characteristics of God. I am in you, because I am you. You are the power. You will not find it anywhere else. You are me, praying to myself, asking myself for what your ego desires. When you pray to a God that is "out there," somewhere, that is where you will find your power.

   In praying you are affirming to yourself, that you have a lack and are powerless to do anything about it. When you do not receive an answer to your prayers, you then assume that it is unanswered or that you are not deserving. This is the belief of a soul that has not matured yet, that is lacking in awareness. This soul does not yet understand it's relationship to the body, to the physical world. You do not loose your power because you have come to the world, you simply forget that you have it. In fact all prayers are answered. It is observable, when compared to the words you used to pray.

   Once again the great secret to getting what you desire in prayer, is to know that you have what you are praying for, and that you are the one that is creating it. A simple statement, "I am grateful for the abundance in my life," will bring abundance to you. But know what abundance means to you first. If you got back an abundance of marbles, you would have abundance, but would it be what you wanted. Be exact and demanding. Be purposeful in your prayers. Be careful in how you construct your prayers. If for instance, you prayed for world peace, that may happen, but you may still experience being at war. A better prayer would be, I am experiencing world peace, and I am grateful having peace in my life.

   Praying may bring a realization into your life of powerlessness. Sometimes this acknowledgement will motivate you to take action. So in that respect your prayers will seem to be answered.

   Mankind is still fearful of the awesome power that he possesses and can access at will, that is why he still prays to me. That is why your sense of deserving is so low. You have limited yourself. You pray to a God that mirrors your thoughts. You have created a false image of a parent that it there to provide for you. You are on you own now. Check your backpack, I have stuffed it with abundance and resources to guaranty your survival. When you pray, remember that you are affirming who you are, and that you have the power to create as you will. Take responsibility for your sojourn on this world and the circumstances of your physical existence. Prayer is good for the soul, if it correctly acknowledges where the power is. IT IS YOU.
