Good morning Roy, good morning Joseth
Life in the swamps is a whole lot of
frogs sitting around on lily pads looking at the same pond from different
angles. Every moment in the swamp is a life and death situation for all
participants. The lower the life form is, the more it breeds, and the greater
the risk of it being eaten. Yet always there are enough that survive to carry on
the species. Bugs are the most abundant life form on the planet. They are killed
off in the greatest numbers, yet they maintain their levels. The swamp is
vibrant and alive. All species develop a pecking order. The strong move to the
top. They have the best access to food and the weakest are left as food to other
species.
The one at the top of the order sees only
its position as being on top. It is focused on creating a position of guaranteed
survival. It is willing to do anything that it takes to stay there. Amongst
lower species with a pronounced order, one rises to the top through bullying and
killing, much as humans do. It would seem that the higher the level of awareness
a species has the more it moves away from individuality and into community. When
one moves from individuality to community, he will find more security and
abundance. In higher evolved societies, resources are shared equally. Its
members do not live in fear of lack. What’s good for one is good for all. Every
member is unique and cherished. Co-operation and trust is are innate values of an
enlightened species.
One’s actions are observed, and it is
noticed whether his actions work or do not. Actions that do not work are not
repeated. All decisions are life affirming and consider all members. Leadership
is voluntary. Strong leaders are very good mediators and have great visions. But
they always seek the support of community. Ideas are implemented when community
is ready and the decisions represent the thought of the community. The natural
philosophy of the community is to move forward to a higher level of evolution.
In the swamp, all species have an equal
chance of survival. The lower the species the greater the numbers lost, but the
more births there are. The swamp is governed by natural laws and life is on
autopilot…balances are maintained. Mankind is the only animal species that is
made responsible for his own survival. Why? Is he more intelligent than a dog?
If a dog was given awareness could he steward his environment any better than
man? What has man shown in the area of intelligence, or wisdom, that is better
than a dog? A dog loves unconditionally, man does not. A dog will protect his
environment, mankind destroys his.
What is it that mankind has, that puts
him in a better position to govern? Clearly, after thousands of years of
governing, what has he demonstrated that he could be proud of as a race
and a steward of his environment? What will be his legacy? Is the quality of his
life better than that of a well fed frog? Does his community thrive? Is the
balance of power in the community held by only a few at the top of the pecking
order? What condition would the world be in, if frogs were given awareness, and
mankind was hunted for food? Would man be better off if he was moved down on the
awareness level by a higher species? Would humanity be better off today? What is
the purpose of mankind having the awareness, while other species are at his
mercy? Was this all just an experiment that went wrong? Has humanity
demonstrated his superiority to rule over his environment? Has he demonstrated
responsibility? What is the measure? When is the experiment over? After he has
destroyed his environment or when the power is taken away from him? If this is
all an illusion, then does it really matter, except in the eyes of the silent
observer? Is it the result that has the most value, or the experiment? Is man
testing his wisdom in the physical world? What is it that he wants to know?
If wisdom
in the swamp is understood?
What is it, that the misunderstood can give? Is it the unknown that attracts the
silent observer? Why is it that man subordinates himself to achieve his
superiority? What happens when man has reached a level of power over his fellow
man and his environment? Why does he inevitably destroy himself? Has he found
out that there is no where to go? How lonely it must be at the top. Why does he
not share his knowledge of it when he reaches his apex? When you are all that
is, where do you go? Is this what man fears the most?
What happens when man stares into the
face of god? Man has an awareness that he is god, but at best, a much
smaller and weaker version. Still man has all the attributes of his creator and
an ego or personality that says he doesn’t. Mankind both acknowledges his
connection and fears it. In his fear, mankind limits himself and his power. The
swamp is safe. His enlightenment and his level of consciousness is just above
the swamp mentality and he feels safe to work within its limitations. We have
the same instincts as the other creators and can relate to them.
The creator has separated us by giving us
awareness. Could he have done the same with another species? After thousands of
years of practice, humanity has only just moved out of the horse and buggy era
in the last 100 years. Would another species have moved faster? What would be
the point? Life is about being, not about getting somewhere. It’s about
experiencing self in physical form. There is no time table. Time only exists in
the physicalness of your experience in the 3 dimensional universe.
Gratitude is the awareness. When we
express this emotion, we demonstrate our awareness. Is another creature grateful
for their existence? Can they express gratitude without awareness?
The focus of one’s attention, should
always be in his physical world. There is purpose for him being here. The
awareness that he is in control of his presence here and his circumstances
should bring some comfort. Anxiety should be lessoned with the knowledge that
mankind can leave or change his present circumstances. The awareness puts the
power equally on his shoulders. He is not a pawn, but is the one moving the
peaces. He is not a frog or the insect. He is the creator of all such creatures.
He is both the source and the manifestation of his thought process. He is both
the swamp and the creator.
