   There is nothing that you cannot do, if you have the will to do it. Having the will is the "key". Your will is stronger than your purpose. Your will has control over your physical body. As the captain of an airliner is always in charge of his plane and makes the final decision in the air. He is responsible for his actions. Your ego understands physical things. It receives orders from the spirit, but it has free will to ignore them. To move around ego, you must understand it. Pay attention to ego. Be an observer of how it works. It is useless to fight it. It is a war you cannot win if you believe that you are at war with it. Ego always wins, it cannot be any other way.

  You can however, manipulate ego through understanding. Study your personality, learn how it operates. Find out its likes and dislikes and learn to manage it. You are a three part being. Mind, spirit and body. All of these parts have a vested interest in being. The mind thinks, the spirit serves and the body is the result. When working with one accord the three parts move in harmony, with purpose and positive results.

   The spirit must know what the mind wants. They only way that happens is in the silence between thoughts. Messages are received and translated into physical being. Learn to communicate with the mind. Take time out to empty your head of all thoughts. Learn how to meditate at will. Trust your intuition. Do not force thought on ego, or it will fight it or try to interpret. Thought is free flowing when it is made manifest. When ego allows it. Ego often misinterprets purpose, and does not take appropriate action. It filters out the message in terms that it understands. This often is not in harmony with the purpose of Mind. Ego is the filter, or mediator between mind and spirit. Make ego your best friend. Get close to it. Feed the ego, and work through the chain of command. Ego serves the mind, in that it allows for independent actions and diversification of the manifesting process, delivering different results and having a different outcome or experience.

   The mind (universal) may give the same command to one million different (souls/spirits), but the result will never be the same, because each individual has interpreted the command differently, through its personality or ego. This is the wonder of the system. This is how it was set up so that mind could experience physical being, in as many different ways or probabilities as possible. This is done through absolute freedom. It is the only way that it can work. No restrictions could be put upon ego, by mind. Without ego, the mind would experience itself in the same way, one million times in this example. The purpose would be lost. There is only one mind, but there is an endless number of egos.

   The separation of ego from mind is an illusion. Ego must believe itself to be an individual, or individualized from the others in order to function independently. Ego must believe in the illusion and work within it, with the body to manifest a "thought" received from mind. Tell a class of 30 to paint for you an outdoor scene. You will automatically get 30 different versions of the same thing. This is what the mind (creator) desires. This is how he set up the system to work. Re-creation through individualized interpretation of the sum of the parts.

   Knowing this will not change how the system works. It will however make your life easier, if you understand it. Knowing how it all works gives you the conscious ability to use it on demand. You are the captain, you are in charge, you have the final word. You are the ultimate power. It is you and you alone, you are ego, you are the decision maker. Your life revolves around your thoughts. There is no other place to look or turn to, the choice is yours by the law of the universe. When your life goes smoothly, it is because your choices are in tune with mind’s purpose. When your life starts to turn the other way, it’s because you have made a choice that does not work for you. You are moving upstream. You are fighting the current, you have moved off your chosen path. Find out what the mind wants and make choices that support it.
