Man has said that the measure of a
society is in how they treat their sick, poor and elderly. It is the benevolence
that you demonstrate in you society that directly reflects the amount of
abundance that is available for sharing amongst your members. If you share with
generosity then you must have abundance to give in the first place, and that
will be your realization. Abundance is more than wealth, services or things. It
is generosity, compassion and understanding. The benevolence that you
demonstrate to the less fortunate, clearly shows your level of enlightenment.,
it is an outward demonstration of a community thought about their own wealth.
When a nation or community ignores the
needy, it is saying it doesn’t have enough, that thought creates its new reality
and the community will never have enough. In the case of the rich who do not
share, it is clearly a visible message that that those people are poor in
compassion and do not have abundance. You can only demonstrate abundance by
giving it away. If you do not, you are saying that you don’t feel you have
enough to give away.
Humanity by nature
is generous and
compassionate and you demonstrate it individually everyday. That generosity is
often not demonstrated by people who live in fear. Fear that they do not have
enough or can get more. What you hold onto you loose, what you give away, comes
back to you. When you practice generousity and compassion in your everyday life,
you do not give it up, or loose control of it, but simple assure yourself that
you have it to give, and you create more simply by giving it away. When you
recognize an area of need, and take action, others will see your generosity and
try to match or exceed it. Momentum will build and you become a leader, others
will come to your with opportunities because they observe that you have
abundance and they will be drawn to it.
In a world of opposites and relativity,
we are all givers and takers. Your wealth came from somewhere, you had to take
it to have it. So you experience both. The joy of giving is always greater that
the joy of receiving, because, wise people know that they always get back more,
than what they receive. Givers are always selfish, in their giving. They will
always tell you that they feel good, when they give. They give first because
they love the experience and what they receive back. In order for your community
to give back to you, first you must give, it is the "Law of cause and effect,"
or "Karma.." Wealth is not your treasure, your true abundance comes from knowing
that you have it to give in the first place.
